Rhona Campbell
Instructor/Mentor
Rhona is the editor of AKTION, our newsletter for IAKT members. She has an M.A. from Glasgow University and her first job was writing software programmes in the stone age of computers (late 60s).
Rhona spent 12 years in Hong Kong, where she learned acupressure, using it for family and friends. She has studied herbal medicine and wrote a beginners book of herbal remedies which she desktop published herself, enjoying the process so much that she opened her own Desktop Publishing business. However the desire to work with people rather than computers became too strong and 1994 she became a full-time therapist. She has been an instructor/mentor since 1996.
She has presented her work in Ireland, Findhorn, and the USA on ‘Working with Clients Suffering from Trauma and Bereavement, as well as ‘The Trauma of Birth Memories Arising During the Therapy Process’. She has studied Tai Chi for 18 years and is also an instructor of Tai Chi with the Rising Dragon School of Tai Chi.
She lives near Dunblane with her husband Duncan, a Kairos Therapist as well, and they practice from their purpose-built therapy centre attached to their home. They enjoy skiing, gardening, reading, meditation and crossword puzzles.
